The eXpressApp Framework (XAF) by DevExpress is a powerful and flexible tool to quickly and easily develop business applications. With XAF, applications for both the internet as the Windows platform can be developed, with support from Windows Forms and Asp.Net2 and since recently the WPF environment (Windows Presentation Foundation).
The XAF-architecture includes eXpress Persistent Objects (XPO), an ORM (Object-Relation Mapping) tool for simple and safe access to and storage of information and relational databases. XPO supports more than 10 databases, among which the most used in the market (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).

XAF also includes the award winning DXperience Component Suite, with which developers can attain a significant increase in productivity. Part of this are advanced presentation, data-publishing, design and an extensive list of reporting functions. With XAF, development teams can attain a significant reduction of development time allowing them to concentrate on the business logic while leaving the generation of the user interface generation, as well as the access to the database to the XAF-architecture.
